[1]GM caught the automotive press with its pants down when it rolled out the 2014 Chevy Camaro Z28 at the New York Auto Show [2]. While the new, refreshed look for the 2014 Camaro was more mild than wild, it certainly stole the show if you ask us. But with the new look comes new (which means higher) prices.
GM has rolled out the 2014 Chevy Camaro pricing sheet, which Camaro5 [3] posted for all of us to enjoy. The MSRP of the Camaro has grown by a few hundred bucks per model, and new options, like the Recaro Racing seats, have also been added for 2014. Ladies and gents, time to bust out those calculators.

The base of base Camaros, the 1LS, has seen its MSRP grow from $23,345 to $23,455, while on the opposite end of the spectrum the Camaro ZL1 convertible has gone up from $59,545 to $60,155 (which doesn’t include the gas guzzler tax either). In between these two, the Camaro 2SS coupe now costs $36,755, up from $36,135.
Since its debut in 2010, the 5th-generation Camaro SS has gone up almost $3,000 in price, putting it closer to $40,000 than $30,000. But GM is also offering new performance packages, including the 1LE for $3,500, and Recaro Racing seats for $1,995, that can really spice up a Camaro 1SS.
And what of the Camaro Z28? GM has not released pricing info on this showstopper sports car, but our guess places it in the $45,000 range, settling in nicely between the Camaro 2SS and the supercharged ZL1. Don’t disappoint us, GM.
