Not only are Koni’s dampers some of the most technologically advanced in the world, now so are it’s manufacturing and assembly methodologies. With the implementing of Google Glass Enterprise Edition into its everyday operations, Koni is now ensuring that every damper it builds meet stringent guidelines ensuring only the best make it out the doors. It also means that all of the right parts are at the right places at exactly the right time on their assembly line, increasing efficiency across the board.

Koni says that the implementation of the system has improved pick accuracy by a whopping 1,600 percent! No, that’s not a typo. The shift in technology also means that Koni can keep parts, that other wise would be spread out on the floor, in bins and storage, where with out the technology they could be lost or possibly injury workers.

Koni Shocks [4]

Since implementing the system, Koni says that production efficiency has increased by 20 percent—a huge gain when you consider Koni is turning out millions of dampers every year. We don’t know about you, but it’s pretty confidence inspiring knowing that the dampers you are possibly betting your life on are right.
