You may remember our article we posted a while back about the Australian-built V12 LS. The makers behind this frankenstein-like monster of an engine have been updating their Facebook and have announced that these things will soon debut to the public and be available for purchase.
Recently, they posted a photo of it upon its arrival showing how the engines will be shipped to customers. The post reads “The half pallet sized crate can be used as an engine stand so you can enjoy your purchase while finishing up the rest of your build too.” Pretty cool, eh?
The comments rolled in with many wondering about horsepower output and pricing… I mean, who wouldn’t? V12 LS claims they offer a Stage 1 and Stage 2 cam currently, with the later making 717 horsepower on the engine dyno. They are currently working on a 1,000 horsepower build with better heads and many other upgrades. Rumor has it that a long block will be priced in the “mid 30s.” Yep, that’s a pretty hefty price tag, but it just might be worth it in our eyes.
This exclusive motor that just arrived here in the states not too long ago is going in no other than Quality Custom Rides’ 1967 Camaro. While we haven’t seen any updated photos of the build (because, duh, it’s top secret until it’s release) we scoured some up for you so you could see the vehicle this whopping engine is going in.
The V12 LS product launch will take place at the SEMA Show, as well as the reveal of official pricing and QCR’s completed ’67 Camaro.
