Last week we brought you the story [2] of the man behind the original Baldwin-Motion Camaros, Joel Rosen, and how the legacy of these legendary muscle cars was being carried into the future by Redline Motorsports, out of Schenectady, New York. Well, now we have a video [3]of what is reportedly the first 2011 Motion Camaro that is on its way to a private owner, sporting “serial #2”.
The individual who filmed the video reports that this particular Motion Camaro is of the Phase III 427-SC Supercar variety, and is toting a fully built LS7 with a 2.8-liter twin-screw Kenne Bell supercharger between the fenders. According to the company’s website [4], the Phase III Supercar package also includes a full tubular exhaust system, an upgraded TR6060 six-speed (as it should be, this is the only transmission available), ZR1 dual disc clutch, a full array of Pfadt [5] suspension components, and massive Brembo brakes front and rear. They are even kind enough to throw in a 1-year/12,000 mile warranty for all of those go-fast goodies.
As with any special edition car, the Supercar package includes a variety of cosmetic upgrades including a glass windowed hood to show off the supercharger, and some sweet concave 7-spoked wheels with body color accents. With a staggering 800 horsepower on tap, this modern Baldwin-Motion Phase III Supercar Camaro ought to be more than able to back up all that flashy styling.
