Remember the Fail Crew S13? In this episode of Tuerck’d, the Fail Crew hooks Ryan Tuerck up with a loaner LS3 S13, built by HGK Racing, to thrash around and compete with. Must be nice, right?
In Estonia, Tuerck competed in the Drift Allstars GP with the S13. He managed to finesse his way through the qualifying rounds and into the first place spot on the podium. Before the actual competition started, Tuerck checks out his friend Igemars Jakobsons’ drift machine, which happens to be a BMW E63 6-Series chassis with a twin turbo LS3 setup. The car has a custom Liberty Walk widebody kit which fits the car well and allows him to run wider tires, ultimately, for more grip. The Estonians sure do know how to do it big!
On the way to Latvia, Tuerck and his entourage encounter the police, who pull them over for not having lights on their trailer and their driver not having a license, but they were quickly sent on their way after taking some photos with the law. Once they got to Latvia’s Bikernieki Raceway, Tuerck was anxious to put down a solid first lap on the track. He was the first person to drift the motorcycle portion of the track, so he knew the run had to be pristine. After drifting the S13 around a bit, his other drifter friend, Kristaps Bluss, brings out his LS-powered E46 BMW and shreds around with him.
Tuerck’s European adventure looks like a lot of fun, especially to us stuck with our desk jobs in the states. For more episodes of Tuerck’d, check out Network A’s YouTube channel!
