Video: SEMA-bound “Decepticon” 2010 Camaro SS

Meet Dustin Johnson. His Decepticon-themed 2010 Camaro SS named “Hornet: The Evil Bumblebee” [2] was recently selected as a SEMA Customer Award winner [3], and will be headed to the SEMA show next week in Las Vegas, where it will be displayed alongside the finest modified vehicles the industry has to offer. Johnson’s “Hornet” Camaro was selected from hundreds of video submissions sent in by customer enthusiasts from across the US, highlighting the aftermarket modifications made to their cars. Winners get the chance to show off their rides at the SEMA show, and get guest credentials for two people to attend the trade-only event that is not open to the general public.

“Hornet” features a custom front grille by DJGrilles (with a Decepticon emblem placed prominently in the center, of course), a custom ram-air style hood, lambo doors, 22-inch Status wheels, and Z06 fender flares have been molded to fit the Camaro’s body by Johnson himself. Hornet also features a variety of impressive audio/visual upgrades including an Insigna TV in the trunk lid, and JL Audio W3 Speakers, and an unbelievable amount of LED’s lighting up the engine bay.

Johnson says, “It’s been a lifelong dream to be at SEMA with some of the big players. I would love to have my car there.” Well, congratulations Mr. Johnson – we look forward to checking out Hornet and the rest of the SEMA Customer Award Winners [3] for ourselves next week at the show.
