While the new Camaro SS is a powerful modern muscle car, there is always room for improvement. That is exactly what East Texas Muscle Cars [3] had in mind when they took on a new SS, pushing it to over 900 horsepower with the help of Vortech Superchargers. Built in 2010 by ETMC, the Camaro SS is equipped with forged engine internals, ETMC Stage 2 camshaft, 4L80E transmission with 3,600 RPM stall converter and a 9-inch rear end. Pushing the car to its astonishing horsepower is a Vortech YSi-trim supercharger delivering 17 pounds of boost.
While the video is short, it sufficiently shows just how much power the modified Camaro is capable of. Living up to the Tasmanian Devil image on the engine and the lightning bolts painted on the underside of the hood, the Camaro roars to 902 HP and 729 pound-feet of torque.
