In all forms of racing whether it be on dirt, pavement, or rallying on both, safety is primarily the number one key to motorsports. The SFI foundation has appointed individuals whom tech a vehicle’s safety gear to ensure it is safe to operate in the racing desired. Impact Racing‘s newest entry-level racing seat meet the specifications with flying colors.
With safety in mind, drivers inquire about cutting weight off the vehicle, but at the same time, still, have the durability and stability of heavy-duty racing equipment. We caught up with Ben O’Connor with Impact and he told us about the all-new Genesys Race Seat that will be released this year.
“For a while, we’ve had the HS-1, Carbon Fiber Race seat and while that product has done very well in the hardback seat market, it comes with a higher price point,” O’Connor said. “Here at Impact, we took advantage of that by building an entry level style fiberglass-back racing seat with an affordable price point.”
The Genesys is a fiberglass back seat offers the comfort and durability of the higher-end seats from Impact and Mastercraft with a lower selling point. They are offered in a number of different configurations for different size drivers. For more information on Impact Racing and their products, check out their website.
