Bendpak Moving Along With 70,000 Sq/Ft. Expansion In California

Like many companies in the automotive aftermarket, Bendpak and its subsidiary brand, Ranger Products, are growing and expanding their operations, and that’s great news for our industry, proving that the automotive and racing hobbies are still alive and prosperous.

Bendpak, headquartered in Santa Paula, California, announced last summer an expansion of its facilities, with a 70,000 square foot multipurpose warehouse to be situated on 3.7 acres directly adjacent to their existing offices, manufacturing, and warehousing location. In total, Bendpak will have more than 300,000 square feet of space, or 15 acres, for their operations.

“We remain focused on growing and will continue to increase the size of our facilities to accommodate it,” said Javier Arias, Vice President of Operations. “This new building expands our operations without having to move and disrupt our day-to-day operations.” The new complex will allow BendPak to accommodate more shipping orders, which have skyrocketed in the last few years, as well as the innovation and shipment of new products that are still in development.“We are excited about this further expansion. The fact that the property sits right next to our existing location and became available for purchase presented a great solution.”

Delays in city planning pushed back the construction plans, but crews are already well underway, with an official ribbon cutting set for early 2017.

Once up and running, Bendpak expects orders to ship out quicker than was ever previously possible, as production volume will be increased with the additional operating space. And as sometimes impatient consumers, that means we can get our hands on the car and parking lifts, pipe benders, air compressors, wheel balancers, and other garage equipment that we need, when we want them — which is right away.

Bendpak also added two acres of land last year for inventory holding and staging for outbound shipments. With four different buildings between the Bendpak and Ranger brands covering the aforementioned 15 acres, the company encompasses a small city of production space.
