DeWitts all-aluminum radiators provide 30 percent more cooling capability, yet weigh about half as much as the stock copper-brass units. That’s a lot of peace of mind when you’re toodling along in your 1964-77 Chevelle or 1962-74 Nova on a hot summer day.
The radiators are direct-fit units that use the stock mounts and factory hose connections. They feature two-row cores furnace-brazed in DeWitts’ own facility. The cores are made without epoxy, which can turn brittle and fall out, resulting in leaks. The OEM-style press-formed end tanks are hand TIG-welded to the cores to eliminate the chance of leaks at the joints. Most applications are available with a built-in transmission cooler for cars with automatic transmissions.
If you want a complete cooling solution for high horsepower cars or racing use, consider a DeWitts Direct-Fit Radiator Module. You get the radiator, a dual or single electric fan, a fan shroud, switch, and wiring harness. The electric fans and shroud are matched to the radiator for improved cooling, and modules are available with an integral transmission cooler for cars with automatics.
For you folks that dropped an LS engine in your car, Summit Racing has your cooling covered with DeWitts LSX Modified Radiator Modules. They come with an aluminum radiator with inlets and outlets placed in the proper locations for the LS motor, eliminating the need for complicated plumbing setups. DeWitts uses low-profile dual electric fans for additional clearance between the engine and the radiator—helpful when using a serpentine belt drive system.
Many DeWitts radiators are available with the company’s Black Ice epoxy coating for great looks and improved protection from spilled coolant and the elements.
