Vintage Air invented the first aftermarket All-Inclusive engine accessory drive system – the Front Runner.  From extensive research and development, plus thousands of on-road testing miles, Vintage Air now offers their Front Runner engine drive system for the GM LS series engines. Like their previous small block Chevy and Ford systems, the LS Front Runner provides a super compact block-mounted package with extreme performance and reliability as first priorities. The Front Runner mounting bracket was engineered to control the rotational harmonics which cause most drive system failures by becoming an integral part of the engine block. The a/c compressor, alternator and steering pump pulleys are specifically sized for optimal RPM on high HP engines. And each Front Runner kit includes over 75 custom engineered components plus a complete manual to complete your installation.

The LS Front Runner system features the smallest component package available for easier engine swaps into older vehicles. These kits include Vintage Air’s exclusive machined truss-type mounting bracket, made in their Texas factory, a high performance Stewart water pump, DSE power steering pump, SD7 Sanden compressor, 140 amp alternator, optimized-ratio aluminum pulleys, ATI harmonic balancer, ARP polished stainless bolt kit and Dayco serpentine belt. Bright finish package as shown or Black anodized kits available. The LS Front Runner is available for all 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L and 7.0L GM LS Series engines.
