Ringbrothers’ 1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Restomod Can Be Yours

For those unfamiliar with Ringbrothers‘ work, the Spring Green, Wisconsin-based custom car builder made a name for itself by putting together some of the most awe-inspiring SEMA show stoppers. The custom car outfit has now focused its powers and attention to help out the good folks at Omaze.

Ringbrothers recently unveiled a custom-built 1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer, which will be given away through the Omaze sweepstakes platform that started earlier this month and will run until September 16th of this year. Omaze will use the proceeds raised by Ringbrothers’ Chevy K5 Blazer to help support Team Rubicon and mobilize veterans to help people prepare, recover, and respond to disasters.

The truck itself is a fine testament to the prowess of Ringbrothers’ craftsmanship. Under the hood of this Blazer Restomod sits a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 motor. The engine is offered in its stock tune, and the motor’s power output has not been enhanced in any way.

The LS3 mill continues to churn out 430 BHP of power and 424 lb-ft of peak torque. The truck gets four-wheel-drive, and Ringbrothers also employed a Tru-Street 350 4×4 automatic transmission to put all that power on the road. The car now rides on a set of HRE forged rims, which are wrapped in General Grabber all-terrain tires.

Ringbrothers’ Blazer also gets a QA1 suspension setup and a bespoke Flowmaster exhaust system which adds more baritones to the off-roader’s exhaust note. The truck also gets a sublime tan leather interior complete with creature comforts like a touch screen infotainment system. The Blazers sports a growler green BASF paint job to honor the veterans.
