Only One Chance Remaining In Corvette & Cash North Carolina Lottery

A Salisbury, North Carolina man was moved to tears as he and his wife learned they were the latest winners in North Carolina’s Corvette & Cash scratch-off lottery. The Corvette & Cash lottery began in July with four chances at the game’s top prize.

The lottery gives the chance to win both a new Corvette and $100,000 in cash by matching the necessary numbers with the “winning numbers” listed at the top of the card. If you match any of your numbers with the winning numbers, you win that prize shown for that number. There are numerous dollar amounts possible, with winnings ranging from $5 through $10,000. The big prize of course awards the winner a new Corvette, along with an additional $100,000 in cash. There were four Corvettes offered through the scratch-off. Winners would choose a 2021 model or a currently available model and spec out their new ride with their favorite options. The value of the vehicle is not to exceed $109,600 when ordered.

Randy Harrington was drawn to tears as he learned he was the latest winner in North Carolina Lottery’s Corvette & Cash game.

Randy Harrington purchased the $5 scratch-off ticket from the Kangaroo Express on Copperfield Boulevard in Concord, North Carolina. He carried it home and showed it to his wife. “All this thing says is ‘Corvette’”, she exclaimed. To which Randy replied, “the whole ticket is about a Corvette!”

After initially scratching off the entire card, his wife determined they had not won the Corvette or the cash. Upon further inspection, Randy’s eyes filled up with tears as he realized they in fact, did have another fuel tank to feed. “Unbelievable,” is the only way Randy could describe his good fortune as he picked up the prize at the lottery headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The cards focus on the big prize, but there are also smaller dollar amounts available to lucky winners. Even those who don't win a Corvette the first time around can opt in to potentially take home the fifth Corvette offered in a second-chance drawing.

Of course, there were the requisite federal and state withholdings, which when satisfied, still netted Randy and his wife $70,751. The main thing they intend to do with the cash is pay off all their bills. After that, we’re sure some goodies for the Corvette and a few things around the house will follow. Randy’s color of choice? As of this writing, he’s not sure if red or blue will be the official color on his winning Corvette.

Randy's biggest decision is whether he prefers red or blue Corvettes!

If you’re the consummate optimist Corvette enthusiast, you still have one more Corvette-winning card out there – somewhere. For the rest of us, there is also one MORE Corvette up for grabs in a second-chance drawing for a fifth C8 Corvette. All Corvette & Cash tickets can be entered into this second-chance drawing, effectively giving them a chance to make their current holders happy.

If you’re hoping to hook a new C8 but all you’ve got is a Lincoln or two in your wallet, you could always try your hand to land the last C8 up for grabs. Then, even if you don’t win, be sure to hold onto that card as you can still go after the last, remaining C8 in a hail-Mary attempt to circumvent the winning-numbers route. Either way, good luck!
