Coker Tire has finally given restomod builders what they’ve been begging for. At SEMA 2025, the company pulled the wraps off a product that bridges the 50-year gap between classic looks and modern grip: the Pro-Trac Street Pro III, the world’s first UHP tire with redline and raised-white-letter options. This debut, paired with the new Wheel Vintiques Magnum 5000 wheel, was the talk of the show.

Solving the Restomod Dilemma
The hobby has always had a compromise. You could get sticky, W-rated blackwall tires for your pro-touring build, or you could get hard, period-correct tires with classic styling. You could not have both. Coker Tire developed a new manufacturing process that finally allows a two-color sidewall to be bonded to a UHP radial without the risk of separation, a problem that plagued previous attempts. This new tire is a legitimate W-rated, 400-treadwear radial.

Pro-Trac Street Pro III: A True UHP Radial
This is the spiritual successor to the Pro-Trac brand, but it’s a thoroughly modern tire. It’s designed for 17- to 20-inch wheels and will be available in widths up to 315. It’s not a race tire; it’s a high-performance street tire, with a 400-treadwear rating that offers a fantastic balance of grip and longevity. With rain grooves and traction grooves, it’s designed to be driven. It’s aimed at restomods but is also OE-compatible with many modern muscle cars.

A Coker Tire Wheel for the Modern Era
A modern-sized classic tire needs a modern-sized classic wheel. To complement the new rubber, the Coker Tire division Wheel Vintiques debuted the Magnum 5000. It’s a 2025 interpretation of the iconic Magnum 500 wheel from the 1960s. “If you took a Magnum 500, that was designed in 1960, and designed in 2025, what would it look like?” asked VP Mark Mooberry. This wheel is the answer. It will be offered in two offsets and should look great on almost any muscle car.

The Complete Muscle Car Package
The Pro-Trac Street Pro III is launching in the summer of 2026, with the Magnum 5000 wheels following in late 2026. This one-two punch from Coker Tire is a direct response to what high-end builders have been demanding. It’s a complete package that allows builders to finish their restomod projects with authentic style without ever sacrificing modern performance.
