Most performance enthusiasts consider the factory Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing a top-tier track weapon straight off the showroom floor, but speed addicts always crave more muscle. Answering that demand, Callaway Cars engineers developed the SC780 package to push Cadillac’s coolest supercharged luxury sedan to a higher level. This hardware swap turns an already potent four-door into an absolute monster.

The modification program targets 2024, 2025, and 2026 models. Mechanics remove the stock 1,740 cc supercharger from the 6.2-liter LT4 V8. The tuning firm then installs a massive proprietary GenFour 3,000 cc supercharger system. The subsequent size increase forces huge amounts of air into the engine. To manage the extreme heat, the company adds a TripleCooled intercooler system, a three-element intercooler design that drops intake charge temperatures. Keeping the air cold helps the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing deliver consistent power and fights off power-robbing heat soak during aggressive track sessions. Finally, custom engine calibration completes the mechanical conversion.

The factory V8 originally produces 668 horsepower and 659 lb./ft. of torque. After the Callaway treatment, the engine unleashes 780 horsepower and 673 lb./ft. of torque. Buyers can pair this massive power bump with the standard six-speed manual transmission or the optional 10-speed automatic gearbox. The builders also add visual components to help the vehicle stand out. The package includes a hand-laid carbon-fiber hood scoop and a matching carbon-fiber mid-engine cover featuring SC780 branding.

Inside the cabin, drivers receive special key fobs, embroidered floor mats, and distinct badging. The builders also attach a serialized interior plaque to verify authenticity. Callaway backs its work by providing a three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty. Customers have multiple purchasing options to obtain the hardware. Buyers can order a brand-new modified car, purchase one directly through an authorized dealer, or ship an existing vehicle to the shop for the complete retrofit.
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is already one of the greatest performance sedans ever built, but Callaway’s SC780 package takes it into an entirely different league. With 780 horsepower on tap, the supercharged LT4 transforms the Blackwing into a machine capable of embarrassing dedicated sports cars while still offering four doors and everyday comfort. For enthusiasts who believe there’s no such thing as too much horsepower, Callaway has once again proven that factory performance is just the starting point.
