If you’ve ever found yourself 14 pages deep into an online parts catalog wondering whether that shiny new piece of hardware actually fits your project, JEGS feels your pain. With roughly 1.8 million parts covering around 300 million vehicle applications and fitments, making sense of their enormous parts selection is no small undertaking. That is, until now. As of this week, JEGS has completely overhauled its e-commerce website with the goal of making finding, verifying, and ordering the right parts considerably easier.
The biggest improvement is a new vehicle-aware search system. Instead of simply throwing every vaguely related part at you, the updated site combines vehicle information, streamlined categories, improved filtering, and application data to narrow results to components that actually fit your ride. For LS enthusiasts, that could be especially handy. After all, searching for parts gets complicated quickly when you’re dealing with five generations of LS and LT engines, factory applications, swaps, and aftermarket combinations.

The new site also connects directly with JEGS’ inventory and pricing systems, providing customers with current pricing, availability, and shipping information before they place an order. The checkout process has received an overhaul as well. In addition to traditional credit cards, customers can pay using PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe Link, or Affirm. Customer accounts will now also bring order history, returns, warranty support, and technical literature together in one place.
“We needed to transform the customer experience, respond faster to the market, and build a stronger foundation for growth,” JEGS CEO Gabe Mendoza said. “We now have a commerce foundation built for speed, so we can keep improving the experience as fast as our customers’ expectations change.”

Behind the scenes, the new website runs on PhaseZero’s CxCommerce platform and was implemented with support from Nimble Gravity. According to JEGS, the project reached full production in only five months and required more than 20 integrations connecting the storefront with the company’s fulfillment, customer service, payment, and ERP systems. Perhaps more importantly, the new platform gives JEGS’ own teams the ability to make quicker changes to search, promotions, content, and site configuration as customer needs evolve.
JEGS has been peddling speed parts since 1960, but the way enthusiasts shop for those parts has certainly changed. With millions of components now just a search bar away, anything that makes finding the right LS or LT part easier — and the wrong one harder to accidentally order — sounds like a great upgrade to us.
