Camaro Hits Man In Living Room

So imagine you just got home from work, and you’re house-sitting for a friend. You just sat down at the computer to play some games, when you hear screeching tires outside. You get up to see what all the commotion is about… and then you’re hit by a Camaro crashing through the wall of the house in your care.That is what happened to Minnesota man Steve Conner, reports KARE 11. An errant Camaro driven by a suspected drunk driver crashed through the wall hard enough to send Conner flying across the room.It’s an uncommon circumstance to be sure, though cars going through houses is not a new thing. In this case the driver, an unnamed 21-year old man, reportedly staggered out of the crashed Camaro and attempted to run away. Two nearby neighbors chased the driver down and pinned him to the ground until police arrived.

Conner meanwhile walked outside and collapsed on the lawn. He had to be taken to the hospital for injuries to his leg, but otherwise he seemed able to laugh the whole thing off. The house, on the other hand, fared much worse. Besides having a hole in the wall, it suffered severe foundation damage. While we can’t see much of the front of the Camaro in the photo, it might be salvageable. Probably not though, which is a damn shame.
