Most of us are man enough to admit (at least while no women are present) that we’ve gotten lost a time or two in a convoluted parking garage. Some of these places seem like they were purposely built like a maze. And then there are those tight curbs where our shiny wheels are put at risk with every turn.

One unfortunate Camaro driver was outwitted by just such a vicious parking garage, and wound up stranded on a low median curb in such a way as the car was unable to free itself. As this video Carscoop came across shows, a Toyota-branded forklift was summoned in for the rescue. But was it able to free this beached Camaro?

The video is entitled “Senior Citizen Parking Garage Fail While On A Gig,” which is the only reason we have to believe that age may have been a factor. In a labyrinthine parking garage, hitting the wrong pedal could result in far worse than a stranded Camaro, but this car happened to land in just such a way that the rear wheels were off the ground.
We’re not sure whose bright idea it was to bring a forklift in to assist, but the attempt ultimately proved futile. It looked as though the forklift operator was not too keen on damaging such a fine car (though the driver who beached it has already done a good job of that.) Ultimately he had to back off, though the tow truck in the background certainly had a winch. We would have loved to see how this turned out, but alas, we are left with this cliff hanger. We can ask this though – how bad do you think the underside of that car looked?
