Header installation can be one of the most aggravating endeavors in a build. At SEMA 2025, Lemons Headers just released a heavy-duty solution that gives builders total control over engine placement: the new Lemons Motor Mount Stands.

Conceived by a Racer
These aren’t just simple brackets; they’re a fully thought-out system. Affectionately nicknamed Jimmy Mounts after the employee who conceived them, the parts were born from real-world experience. “Jimmy has been racing for 60 years and has built all his own race cars,” said Chuck MacDougal of Lemons Headers. “It was clear that he’d thought it through from a racers’ and builders’ point of view.”
The Lemons Motor Mount Stands Solution
The system is designed to give you controlled movement in every direction. A slotted base allows for up to one inch of adjustment, both front-to-rear and side-to-side. A jack-screw center post provides 1.5 inches of vertical movement. This range allows you to precisely set the engine position and angle, creating the clearance you need to make header fitment immensely easier.
Built for Serious Power
This is a heavy-duty component, not a flimsy universal mount. The “Jimmy Mounts” are rated for applications up to and exceeding 1,800 horsepower. The bases are welded, laser-cut steel, finished in the signature Lemons Yellow powder coat. They are supplied with Grade 8 or better hardware for the final installation and are designed to be compatible with common clamshell-style engine mounts.
The Extra Benefits
The Lemons Motor Mount Stands do more than just help with header clearance. All that movement prevents you from having to cut up parts of the car. It also allows you to perfect your driveline angle, an important step for a smooth-running car. Furthermore, you can improve weight distribution and chassis response by placing the engine exactly where you want it in the bay, and once it’s bolted down, it’s designed to stay in one place.
