Later this week, a horde of print and web auto journalists, bloggers, and videographers will descend upon the Javits Convention Center in New York, New York for the annual (you guessed it!) New York Auto Show. Among the many debuts we are looking forward to is an all-new Cadillac CTS, which GM has been keen to keep under wraps under the official reveal.
Well, at least they tried. GM Inside News came across leaked images of the all-new, 2014 Cadillac CTS on a private Flickr account, revealing a sexy new look for Cadillac’s flagship sedan. We can dig it. Do you?
Let us rephrase that to “We like what we can see” as the pictures don’t show the whole car, but rather a number of up-close, angled shots. But we can definitely get a feeling for the new design, which includes a brand new front fascia that is sleeker and swoopier. This is definitely a nod to the Korean design language introduced by Hyundai and Kia that has found a lot of buyers in today’s market.
But that’s not to say the 2014 Cadillac CTS has lost its muscular look. Far from it, in fact, as Cadillac designers have managed to streamline the luxury sedan without it losing any of its intimidating presence. Without a full view of the new Caddy though, we’re left filling a lot of the blanks. Suffice to say, we’re really looking forward to a complete reveal later this week at the New York Auto Show.
UPDATE: It seems that full images hit the web not far behind the closeups. It also seems that the photos were taken with the car parked in Tony Stark’s living room… – PJH
