The second official “teaser” video from Chevrolet on the 2014 C7 Corvette has dropped; entitled “Calibration,” it’s a mere 43 seconds long and shows a few heretofore unseen details about the new car. In the voiceover, Performance Integration Engineer Alex McDonald simply says,

“This car has a new level of electronic integration. You don’t feel like you’re trying to drive ‘to the car’. You feel like the car is doing exactly what you want it to do. You’re just making the car right for the road you’re on – No compromises.”

Finally, the tagline “Roads Will Surrender” ends the video. Based on the cuts that quickly flash on the screen, we can surmise that the C7 will have a full-digital LCD dashboard rather than a traditional analog tachometer, and that the C7 retains a rear suspension very much like the C5 and C6, with no coil springs in sight and a transverse leaf continuing to be utilized.

All in all, there aren’t too many revelations in this latest offering, though we do wonder what convertible drives past in the background of one of the final shots about 30 seconds in…
