Event staff will carefully guide more than 150 specific vehicles into a precise formation to recreate the national symbol. Passionate owners bringing their red, white, and blue cars will carefully park to make up the iconic stars and stripes. Meanwhile, lucky drivers with rare Carlisle Blue models will line up perfectly along the edge to represent the towering flagpole.
Pulling off the Corvette American Flag requires serious patience and exact positioning from everyone involved in the process. Fans and daily attendees can watch the entire operation unfold in real time on Friday, August 28, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Carlisle Events partner Lance Miller originally dreamed up the concept to combine two enduring symbols of Americana. Miller added: “The Corvette community always rallies behind something special, and seeing owners work together to create a patriotic display like this really captures what Corvettes at Carlisle is all about.”
