This C7 apparently built by KS Tuned does a few passes at a desert strip during Airstrip Attack 7. Despite a few bobbles, this car sounds pretty mean and really takes off once it finds the traction.  Again, you may notice some driver errors in the video, and for good reason.

Found in the comments of the YouTube page, was a remark from a user known as “Matt Stidham, who added, “This is my car with my friend driving it (I let him on a single pass).  Was actually one of the worst runs of the day as he missed a shift but nailing down a perfect run takes a lot of practice.”

“The car is actually putting down over 800 rwhp, nearly 900 hp flywheel.  It is on 305 Mickey Thompson drag tires. I know people are going to be haters but honestly, I love this car!  Balance?  It is making nearly 1000 hp.  Look at every review of the stingray and find me one that is bad, that is a challenge! :)”

We happen to agree with Matt Stidham on a couple points. The first being, no matter how good you or your car are, there will always be people with negative comments. More importably the Stingray is an awesome performing machine both at the strip and on the track, and we commend those that push the boundaries with these cars.

Additionally, this car must be a decent handful with that kind of horsepower, yet make for a real good time, so we say keep it up Matt!
