ACG Automotive is a high-performance service and tuning shop based in Southern California. Typically, they work with exotic European machines like Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Aston Martins. Serving the San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles counties since 2005, ACG’s primary goal is to take the ambitious concepts of their clients and bring them to life.

While they also manage regular servicing and maintenance on these high-end cars, taking the already-extreme to the next level is ACG’s specialty. They work to fulfill whatever image or modifications customers have for their cars – performance tunes, wheels and paint, and even fitment and modification of aftermarket parts.
Naturally, then, ACG is well-accustomed to the striking – often exorbitant – tastes of their clients. While always artful and never gaudy, some of their projects do approach ‘flamboyant’. However, one of their projects in particular stands out to us – a menacing C7 Z06 Corvette.
As usual, the C7 Z06 can hang with the rest of them – keeping pace with European exotics in both performance and beauty. One of the most immediately-noticeable aspects of the car is it’s matte finish, courtesy of a Satin Clearbra. Equally as eye-catching are the APR body pieces, including the front lip, diffuser, and hood, fender, and quarter panel vents. The C7 also received a full-carbon interior package, spreading the dark frontage to the cabin as well.
However, it’s not all about looks with this ‘Vette – ACG also fitted a Halltech Performance intake and Vengeance performance tune. Together, the intake and tune put the machine at 620 horses and 661 ft/lb of torque at the wheel. And to put that power on the ground, ACG fitted 20″x12″ meats in the rear, with 19″x10″s in the front.
The blacked-out look is absolutely timeless, and looks great on just about any car. This Z06 is no exception, and it will definitely give it an intimidating presence on the road, strip, or at any shows.
