Is this the automotive equivalent of spitting on a underclassman, or a display of the instinctual predatory behavior of bird of prey in its environment?
With news stations constantly reporting on the mental trauma inflicted by bullying in schools, it may seem a little insensitive to pick on a particular group of people; however this a media outlet and it is our duty to report on the bullying of ricers. It seems ricer bullying remains a constant behavior embedded into the psyche of domestic V8 owners. Sure, it may seem like snatching candy from 6th graders on Halloween, but it is entertaining and amusing. For instance, a harmless gathering of import enthusiasts where subjected to the predatory prowess of a Pontiac Trans Am. The driver slowly creeps up as audio tracks from Jaws narrate the behavior of maniacal Trans Am.
A cameraperson went undercover amongst the import fans in order to document the shark attack. As the TA comes to a stop, suddenly the driver let’s loose a series of donuts that closely mimic the thrashing of the famous shark during an attack on bikini clad teenager. After the spinning stops, the TA goes back out to sea and the photographer comments about the perceived inferiority of non-domestic vehicles. Despite the requirement to provide an unbiased account of the facts, the sound of an LS1 is hard to ignore.
Yet another video documents the hostile or bullying behavior of Pontiac Trans Am’s on another non-domestic vehicle. In this case, the white TA seems to be equipped with a certain gas that most drag racers have an affinity for; again, in a slow and predatory fashion the Pontiac approaches the little import and proceeds to spray on the primered project. Like bull or dragon with steam blowing from its nostrils, the alleged nitrous oxide erupts from the ram air hood in some form of animalistic dominance over the lesser species. Perhaps bullying in the automotive kingdom is not bullying at all, but survival of the fittest.
