Callaway Silverado Supercharged With Style And Performance

Traversing the fine line between needs and wants has never been easier. Some folks need a truck, while others simply want one. Many times, they also want it to be the fastest, most exclusive offering on the highway. That is easier done than said with Callaway’s 602 HP Callaway Silverado super-truck.

No stranger to pumping performance from GM’s offerings, the Callaway Silverado follows in the footsteps of some legendary performance vehicles. Beginning with RPO B2K, which fitted twin-turbos to space-limited C4 Corvettes, Callaway has worked with OEMs to continually engineer performance into various makes and models for over 30 years. Understanding the needs and wants of truck buyers, Chevy’s Silverado is the latest iteration of that long-standing legacy of performance.

The Silverado's 6.2L engine gets boosted by Callaway's GenThree supercharger to the tune of 602 horsepower and 560 lb./ft. of torque.

And perform it does! Starting with General Motors’ T1 pickup truck platform, trucks are based on Chevrolet’s Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, and High-Country models with 4 wheel drive and 6.2L engine. Topping off performance is done with the inclusion of Callaway’s GenThree supercharger, based on the Eaton TVS R2650, atop that 6.2L engine. The newly-designed supercharger pack includes Callaway’s TripleCooled intercooler system utilizing both primary and secondary intercoolers to reduce intake temps more efficiently. With 15% more displacement, yet requiring 18% less power output, the supercharger boosts the performance of the 376 cubic-inch engine to 602 horsepower and 560 lb./ft. of torque. As designed, the Callaway Silverado knocks over a full second off the 0-60 time of the stock Silverado and adds 12 mph to its quarter-mile trap speed while covering the distance in 1.4 fewer seconds.

Suited And Supercharged

More than just a pair of bulging biceps, the Callaway Silverado is a complete package that looks as good in a suit as it does in the boxing ring. Standard equipment on the Callaway Silverado includes low-restriction stainless steel, dual-outlet exhausts featuring quad tips. Chrome Callaway exterior and interior badging, along with aluminum door sill inserts let everyone fortunate enough to enjoy one of these haulers this is no ordinary truck. There are also optional black Callaway badges for that truly sinister look.

There are also subtle touches such as the Callaway carbon grille, done in a natural carbon finish, and the Alcantara horn cover that now features the Callaway branding alongside the Chevy Bowtie. There are also Callaway alloy wheels (Nine-Spoke Anthracite or Ten-Spoke Satin Black), as well as optional Black Chrome PVD wheels for those who wish to check all the boxes.

Callaway badging carries over to the optional wheels, soft goods inside, and chrome exhausts for show and go.

As with every Callaway package, the supercharged Silverado comes with a complete authenticity package, including a build authentication plaque (with vehicle identification number), and a serialized interior build plaque. Each Callaway Silverado comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty which is supplemental to the GM bumper-to-bumper warranty. The truck is also 50-state emissions compliant, a testament to Callaway’s commitment to engineering performance vehicles, not just building horsepower.

Callaway Silverados are assembled to stringent engineering specifications by expert technicians exclusively at Callaway factories in Old Lyme, Connecticut, and Temecula, California. Customers can order a new Callaway Silverado from their nearest Callaway Authorized dealer, or purchase one from Callaway’s current inventory. Callaway can also up-fit your existing, pre-owned 2019, 2020, and 2021 Silverado by having it shipped to Callaway for conversion to Signature Edition specifications, per Callaway’s “Second Chance” process. Now, if you’ve been thinking about getting a new Chevy Silverado, or recently got one, Callaway is a sure-fire way to make it stand out to the front of the pack, and keep it there.
