While we continue to patiently await the arrival of the all-new sixth generation ZL1 Camaro, Hennessey Performance is taking Camaro performance into its own hands with the sale of the company’s first HPE650 equipped ’16 Camaro SS.

Up for delivery in mid February, this 2016 Camaro SS is equipped with the company’s HPE650 Supercharged Upgrade. Not to be confused with the HPE650 Naturally Aspirated Upgrade – this package entails, you guessed it, 650+ horsepower and 602 lb-ft of torque. Power is achieved by using the company’s HPE High-flow supercharger system which is paired with its HPE High-flow supercharger intercooler system. A High-flow air filter element, a custom HPE engine management upgrade, and a chassis dyno calibration tailors the performance aspect of the package together respectively.

The chassis dyno calibration means that the new owner will receive a before-and-after dyno graph report which discloses the power and torque made, measured at the rear-wheels. The new owner can also expect up to 100 miles of road testing on the Camaro, all of the necessary gaskets and fluids replaced (including an oil change using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum synthetic oil and oil filter), and a half of a tank of Shell V-Power Nitro+ 93-grade gasoline upon delivery. The finishing touches on the package include signature HPE650 and Hennessey badging on the exterior and interior of the Camaro, as well as a HPE650 serial numbered plaque signed by John Hennessey (interior) and a matching plaque in the engine bay of the HPE technician who built the car.

The new owner will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity signed by none other than himself, John Hennessey, and includes a free lifetime membership under the official Hennessey Vehicle Registration.

This 650 horsepower Camaro can achieve a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds, a quarter mile pass in 11.5-seconds at 124 MPH, and a top speed of 190 MPH, all while retaining a 3 year/36,000 mile limited warranty.
