Recently, Chevrolet held their “Find New Roads” dealer conference at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. As tidbits of information and “spy” photos dribble into the interwebs, it seems that Chevy was finally ready to uncover its most recent fighter jet that has been spotted sporting various camo and body padding.
It is coming, it looks very mid-engined! – Nate Chandler
Nate Chandler, a dealer for Van Bortel Chevrolet in New York, posted on his Facebook account, “Caught a glimpse of the next gen Corvette at Chevy’s Find New Roads dealer conference.” He mentions that the teaser came during a General Session, and that no cameras or recording devices of any kind were allowed.
Of course, he didn’t have any images due to the current restrictions, but we’ve got plenty of fodder throughout the web to help feed our curiosity. Nate does confirm the car’s existence and takes a stab at silencing the doubters of mid-engine anything, “It is coming, it looks very mid-engined!”
Unlike Nate, we’ll have to be satisfied with knowing that someday, everything will be in plain sight. Until then, we echo Nate’s parting words, “I can’t wait to find out more!” Indeed Nate, and the world will be waiting along with you.
