There is a lot of talk about “Buying local, sustainability, helping fellow Americans and keeping our money in our own communities.”
Apparently, in America 2017, that only applies to lettuce or hemp underwear. Swing through a Whole Foods parking lot some time and count the number of “local” cars in the parking lot…
I’ll save you a trip. There ain’t many.
We think you should buy your lettuce from Germany and buy your car from the great, comparatively “local” state of Kentucky. Now, that’s “sustainable” we can get behind.
Corvette has always been local and is a great way to support hometown businesses, sustainability, fellow Americans and spending our money in our own communities.
GM is will be making it very easy to just that over the Fourth of July weekend by offering 10 percent off new 2017 Corvette Stingrays.
That pencils out to between roughly $5,600 and $8,800 off the cost of the 2017 model year Corvette in stock, depending on what trim and body style you choose and how many options you stock up on.
If an instant gratification isn’t your bag, the Chevy Current Deals website also lists 0 percent financing for 60 months on both basic ‘Vettes and those with the Z51 performance package, which is pretty much the “real deal” for anyone who actually plans on driving their Corvette at more than five-tenths.
So, to celebrate the USA’s birthday, we can’t think of a better way to put your “local” money where your mouth is and go down to the Chevrolet dealer and get yourself a ‘Vette.
