As you’ve seen in the video, the car spits some serious fire during one of the dyno passes, only to be extinguished by an additional throttle blip. Now that should catch some of the competition’s attention!
We were able to speak with David Donnals of D3 Performance Engineering who explained, “The car essentially ran out of fuel system capacity, so we are going to add another pump along with larger injectors. We should be able to get into the 1500+ rwhp area on boost alone, then we have a two-stage Nitrous Express system that we will let loose with a total of a 300-shot. We are currently prepping the car for the Texas Invitational roll race event and the TX2K15”
So for the math majors out there, you’ve already realized that when under a full nitrous load, this car will be producing close to 1,800 hp. Can you even imagine what that will feel like?
