Roaming around Barrett Jackson’s website always proves to be entertaining. Its always fun to read about a couple of different builds and see some pictures of beautiful cars, but every once in a while you come across some… well, not-so-beautiful cars. Today was one of those days.
For those attending the Scottsdale auction this month, if you were hoping to see some bad ass Camaros, all we have to say is… We’re sorry. It seems there’s plenty of nice older cars, but this auction is busting at the seams with modern rice. If you don’t believe us, scroll on down…
1. The Ugly Version Of Lightening McQueen
The first blatant example is this ugly version of Lightening McQueen. The dip-dyed booty, the color scheme… those wheels. The only thing that could make this car better is if the designs on the sides were actually lightening bolts. KA-CHOW!
2. Barbie’s ‘Maro
Thanks to its interior, the only place this car seems like it would be accepted is in a toy box– a Barbie car from the late 80’s almost seems like an accurate description. We can appreciate the fact that they were going for a throw back look to the first-gen Trans Am but they missed the mark…by a lot!
3. The Transformer… With A Bodykit
The silver one above is obviously a Transformer… but with a nasty bodykit. Believe it or not, it was featured at the 2013 SEMA Show. It was probably a good concept and, sure, it may not be a hideous color but, boy is it over the top!
4. The Two-Tone Donk
Last but not least– retro styling on a new car. Come on, people… two tone paint is dead. The Lexani wheels (or, for those that like them, should we say “rims“) even make this car a semi-donk.
…How wonderful.
