Camaros have always been popular in the United States; they are cultural icon for Americans. Classic Camaros have gained popularity overseas and now the 5^th generation cars are being embraced worldwide as well. Camaro5 seems to be source for all things 5^th generation, including coverage of an international Camaro club meet. A recent gathering of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Camaro Club was captured in pictures and one of the club members thoughfully posted the images to the Camaro5 site.

The UAE Camaro Club hosted a cruise through Dubai and Sharjah that provided countless photo ops.  Some of these cars reflect the popularity of the Transformer movie series, while others still reflect both modern and regional tastes.

Many of modifications to imported Camaros look like their American counterparts; in fact one Camaro proudly displays the phrase “American Muscle” across the rear of the vehicle at the base of the decklid. The wide assortment of brightly Camaros pitted against the desert landscape and rich architecture of both Dubai and Sharjah is breathtaking. Some of cars appear to be in stock trim while others feature paint and body enhancements, along with at least one Whipple charged version. Regardless of being halfway around the world these guys are some dedicated 5^th generation Camaro devotees.
