
A few days ago, we brought you the news that our friend Conrad Grunewald had taken the win at Round 4 of the Formula DRIFT series. Now, we’re getting a look inside the sport from the perspective of another Final Four competitor at that event, Gardella Racing’s Ryan Tuerck. Formerly behind the wheel of a GR Solstice, Tuerck made it all the way through to the semi-finals before crashing out hard while running against Grunewald.
Wall Speedway is Tuerck’s home track, and the Pfadt Race Engineering suspended, LS7-powered Red Bull Camaro proved to be well-sorted in its debut with Tuerck behind the wheel, qualifying first out of a field shortened by the large number of DNQ’s scored by drivers who just couldn’t get a handle on the very technical track.
