A couple of months ago General Motors peeled back the wrapping paper on the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, which recieved an updated look that draws on some classic inspiration. In addition to the new, lightweight Z/28 model, the 2014 Camaro promises to inject a bit of refreshed excitement into Chevy’s muscle car contender.
The first production models are rolling out of the Oshawa Assembly Plant, and a couple of forum members from Camaro5.com captured pictures of the 2014 Camaros sitting outside of the facility. We can’t wait to see them on dealership lots and then on the road!
Camaro5 members Matt and velocity149 hunted around the Oshawa production facility hoping to snap some photos of the 2014 Camaros, and they got more than they bargained for. Just about every 2014 Camaro model was out in the facility parking lot, including the SS, ZL1, and all-new Z/28. We also got a look at the new Camaro convertibles, which look hot with those new headlights and taillights.
Production appears to be in full swing, with hundreds, perhaps thousands of Camaros waiting to be shipped out to dealers. These 2014 Camaros should hit dealerships anytime soon, and soon we won’t have to look at these muscle cars from behind chain link fences. With the Camaro’s 50th birthday coming in 2017, this should be the last refresh before next-gen Camaro speculation hits full steam.
