This past weekend, the famed “Corvettes at Carlisle”, held in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, celebrated its 30th anniversary, and attracted over 5,000 Corvette owners and their families. What better place for General Motors to show off some of the new options for the 2012 Corvette? Thanks to our friends at Corvette Blogger, we have the low-down on the Genuine Corvette Accessories latest offerings.
One of the most notable new features includes the Torque 2 Wheels in Z06 and Grand Sport sizes that can be ordered through the GM Genuine Corvette Accessories catalog. Corvettes can also be ordered with a full body stripe in one of four colors, shown in white on the display car. The display also wears a new body color for 2012; “Carlisle Blue” made its debut at its namesake event, and as part of the celebration the event coordinators had corvettes of every hue of blue and year model line the site of the event, as part of the “Road to Carlisle Blue” event.
