A high speed blast down a busy public road in Perth, Australia, ended tragically for two young men earlier this month. The driver of this white Holden Commodore, 20 year old Tom Dymond, and passenger, 19 year old Shaun Payne were both killed when the car slammed into a large palm tree in the median of a divided street.
The car was traveling so fast when it made contact with the tree that the entire left side exterior of the car was literally sheared away from the frame, and landed several feet away. Perth Police report that there were no skid marks leading up to the crash site, and alcohol may have been a factor in this accident.
This story serves as a stark reminder of the extreme danger of high speed, reckless driving on public roads. Please, be careful out there…
