It seems like just a few months ago, we loaded up in Project Dirty Bird and headed out of Texas to Las Vegas for Holley’s LS Fest West 2021. Well, here we are again, only 45 days away from the all LS-powered Sin City event, and we are finishing up our plans. And just like last year, LSX Magazine will host the Valley of Fire Cruise again. But this year, we will also be joined by our sister publications, Street Muscle and Chevy Hardcore for added coverage.
This year’s cruise will take place on April 21, the day before Holley’s LS Fest West 2022 kicks off. And just like last year, we will meet in the designated parking lot across from the drag pits as noted on the map below. So if you want to join in on the cruise, please plan on showing up around 3:00 pm. We will hang out in the parking lot, taking photos and visiting until 4:00 pm, when we depart for the Valley of Fire State Park, about 30 miles from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The Valley Of Fire State Park offers a scenic route that is one of Nevada’s most beautiful parks and an excellent place for photo ops. After we cruise through the park, we will pull over and hang out for a while before making our way back to Las Vegas. Park entry is $10.00 for Nevada residents and $15.00 for non-Nevada vehicles, and you will need to have cash because last year, the park’s visitor center was closed. It’s also a good idea to bring water and snacks for this cruise.
We hope you will join us for the Valley Of Fire Cruise 2022 as we get ready to kick off LS Fest West. If you have any questions, please shoot us an email or visit the park’s website.
