Mid America Motorworks Will Bring 11 Cars to Mecum Auction

Whether it be for the annual Corvette FunFest, restoration parts, or upgrades to your new Vette, many Corvette fans have become very familiar with Mid America Motorworks located in Effingham, Illinois. This year, Mecum Auctions will be dropping the gavel at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on May 12-16.

Mike Yager, founder and Chief Cheerleader of Mid America Motorworks mentioned, “Every Corvette in the collection has its own unique story to tell. As we continue to see a rise in historic racing, we started to wonder if some of these cars – especially the Escort and Corvette Challenge cars – might have more to their story that hasn’t been told.

There are many great cars heading off to auction, and we hope that they will draw the bids that they deserve. If you are interested in owning one of these awesome Vettes, pack your bags for Indy or get ready to bid off site!
