For a change, we thought we’d bring you some Mosler Automotive news that didn’t involve too much weirdness. The Florida based supercar manufacturer recently announced that they plan to limit the number of LS7 powered MT900P “Photons” available for the 2012 model year. And by “limit”, we mean they are only going to make one. According to Mosler’s press release on autoblog, we learned that the price to own that single 2012 Photon will be the colossal sum of $479,000. But hey, that’s for one-of-one. How’s that for exclusive?
The lucky blue-blood who becomes the owner of the 2012 Mosler Photon can expect world beating performance easily equal to anything that Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Porsche have to offer. The supermodel-skinny supercar weighs just 2,500 pounds with a full tank of gas thanks to a composite chassis and carbon fiber body panels. In concert with the miniscule mass of the car, the Photon’s mid-mounted LS7 that makes 535 horsepower ensures that it can blast from 0-60 in under 3 seconds, and run high 10’s in the quarter mile. Mosler also projects that the Photon is even capable of clipping 200 miles an hour if you can find a long enough, and flat enough stretch of black top to really let it stretch its legs.
LS7 power for the win, yet again.
