If you are a Chevrolet fan, no doubt you’ve already heard about the upcoming Camaro ZL1. The “ultimate Camaro” in every sense of the word, this 580 horsepower beast of a modern muscle car is race bred and track approved. The 2012 ZL1 boasts a supercharged 6.2 liter V8, a track-tuned suspension, incredible stopping power, and menacing good looks.
The Camaro ZL1 doesn’t hit dealerships until this spring, but the brochures have gone out, and forum members over at Camaro5 have uploaded this brochure to the Internet.
To be honest, the brochure doesn’t really contain any new information, though there are lots of awesome pictures and even some QR codes that link to neat new videos with even more info. One of the videos includes a driver’s perspective ‘round the Nurburgring, where the Camaro ZL1 ran a 7:41.27, an impressive time for any car, nevermind a freakin’ Camaro.
Within the brochure is another page dedicated entirely to downforce, which played an integral role in the Camaro ZL1’s development. As we said though, there isn’t really any new info, unless you count the available colors, which are; Black, Summit White, Silver Ice Metallic, Victory Red, Inferno Orange Metallic, Rally Yellow, and Ashen Gray Metallic. Still, if you’re dreaming of the Camaro ZL1, thing brochure may just tide you over until this ultimate Camaro hits dealerships in the spring.
