For those chomping at the bit for some hardcore LS engine action, then the Holley LS Fest 2011 is right up your alley. With everything from cruising to racing to a car show, the Holley LS Fest has a little something for every LS lover. For those already intrigued by entire event dedicated to a much beloved GM engine, it is important to know that pre-registration for this annual event opened as of June 23, 2011. Held at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky on September 9-11, the 2011 LS Fest promises not to disappoint with the return of many popular events and the addition of a few new ones as well. Three new attractions to schedule include a dyno challenge, a tandem drift exhibition and the Truckin’ Throwdown where pre-selected LS-powered pickups will run a motorsports gauntlet (quarter mile, speed stop and a 600 foot slalom). The tandem drift exhibition will include Mike Peters of “Bubba Drift” and Nick Thomas of Track One Motorsports. Of course the drag racing, autocross, speed stop, cruise, car show and engine swap events will be part of this year festivities.
