The wait is over to see the Hess ZR1 Camaro in all its glory. While snapshots of the car have surfaced previously, the first professional photos of the car have just been released. While the wait was trying, the professional photos make this car look even more appealing than we previously thought. Thanks to Camaro5 for bringing us the news.
The Hess ZR1 is referred to as the first ‘exotic’ fifth generation Camaro. The car is a one-off ZR1 in most of its body panels. It has shaved doors and functional side grills. The interior sports CTS-V Recaro seats in Porsche leather. Performance upgrades on the car include a custom suspension, custom aluminum air-induction hood and 434 CI 7.2L LS9/LS7 hybrid engine. According to Hess Motorsports’ posts on Camaro5.com, almost every stock item was changed or modified on the Camaro. The car is finished off in a Jet Black exterior paint with white, first-generation Camaro stripes.
Although specs for the Hess ZR1 haven’t been released yet, we can only assume that this car will be one hell of a beast. We’re glad we finally got a professional-grade glimpse at the car and look forward to seeing performance specifications in the near future.
