One thing that almost all enthusiasts like to do is to distinguish their ride from others. What exactly that means is sometimes open to question, but the bottom line is this: If it makes you smile every day that you see it, then go ahead and make it happen.
One of the more unique products to be released for the 2010+ Camaro is these Foilers from Correct Performance Accessories. The styling add-on subtly enhances the front end lines and, according to the manufacturer, may enhance the car’s aerodynamic performance by reducing wind drag in the wheel well. There may be a clearer expression for the potential improvement, but like most other passenger car aero devices, the effect is unlikely to be significant until extra-legal speeds are achieved.
Foilers are made for both the front and rear wheel wells and attach using the well-proven 3M tape approach. Versions are available for both RS and SS Camaro fitment, painted, unpainted or in a carbon fiber look. Molded in automotive urethane, painting is done with Dupont Cromax polyurethane waterborne paint for custom matching to the factory finish.
Others have suggested that add-ons like this may be more favored by the import crowd, but these seem rather more subtle than the triple-stack dive planes inspired by German touring car racing. What do you think? Would you put them on your car?
