There is a saying that goes “Truth is stranger than fiction.” Essentially, it means that compared to the real world, works of fiction can’t compare. You don’t have to look far to see a lot of examples proving this statement true. In the car world especially, the stories, incidents, and tall-tales surrounding automobiles have only added to the mystique, and thanks to the internet, these stories can now be told to the masses.

Jalopnik tipster Greg provided this picture of what can only be described as a one-in-a-million event; two identical yellow Camaros that met via fender bender at an intersection.

Now two yellow Camaros coming together isn’t all that impressive in and of itself. After all, the internet has brought car enthusiasts of all types together in a way never before possible. But the chance of two yellow Camaros crashing into each other, and both being driven by women? Let’s just say that the odds are against this every happening again.

Here are some stats for you. Sales of Rally Yellow Camaros represent about 10% of all Camaro sales. Since April of 2009, over 206,000 Camaros have been sold, putting the number of Rally Yellow models somewhere around 20,600. That still sounds like a lot… but if we’re not mistaken, those are sales including those outside North America. Even the U.S.A. is quite a spread for such a small number of cars. Long story short, it isn’t likely you’ll see identical two yellow Camaros smacking into each other again anytime soon.
