When we hear the name Callaway, the first thing that comes to mind is the twin-turbo C4 Corvettes that put the company on the map. These days though, customers don’t just want fast Corvettes (and other rear-drive performance cars.) They want an equally powerful truck to haul ass and their trailers between racing events and car shows.
Callaway is more than happy to oblige with the C19 SportTruck package, which PickupTrucks.com reports will pack an Eaton supercharger and up to 540 horsepower under the hood.
This is one of the more subtle supercharged truck packages we’ve seen. In fact, the only exterior enhancements available are nine-spoke rims and a tonneau cover (as well as the prerequisite Callaway badging.) No bodykits here, though a Callaway suspension package is also an available option, as well as Le Mans GT brakes and a sport interior package. For the $15,595 starting price of the package though (on top of the price of the truck, of course), you get an Eaton supercharger atop either your 5.3 liter or 6.2 liter V8 engine. While the supercharger 5.3 is good for 450 horsepower and 450 ft-lbs of torque, the bigger 6.2 liter V8 makes 540 horsepower and 522 ft-lbs of torque. That’s a lot of power, even for this big truck, and the whole supporting cast of air-to-liquid intercooler, bigger injectors and air intake are along for the party.
This package can be had in two-wheel and four-wheel drive applications, and embroidered headrests and floormats are also included along with the key fobs and low-restriction exhaust. Because what performance package is complete without key fobs? Being that it’s Callaway, we’re sure you can go even crazier with the upgrades, as long as your wallet is deep enough.
