One Stingray owner in San Antonio, Texas is now missing a set of wheels and tires from his or her Z51, and it seems as if the sky itself is crying.

According to News 4 San Antonio, the stolen wheels are part of a series of vehicle break-ins in the area, and police managed to catch a suspect in a previous theft. However, whoever’s responsible for leaving the C7 up on blocks remains unidentified.

Undoubtedly, there will be some readers who will have the opinion that “if you don’t have a garage to keep it in, you shouldn’t own a new Corvette” or wonder why it was left in an apartment complex parking lot in the rain. To them we’d just say that maybe the owner has his priorities straight and spent every disposable cent on the car of his dreams, which would make the loss all that more tragic.
