By now, you all probably know how much we love donuts and burnouts over here at LSXMAG.
This video by YouTube user, TrentSanRafael, is from 2012, but we never get tired of seeing LS engines in import cars of all makes. The E30s are already light to start with, but they need some help in the performance department. Yes, there are obviously other engines that could’ve been swapped into the car, but for the owner opted for a tried and true LS1 engine.
What appears to be a stock LS1 sure makes the car dance. From the instant the driver punched the throttle, the car looked like it just wanted to spin and smoke the tires. The car had some Falken Azenis rubber on it, which we know is a pretty smokey tire from watching the Formula Drift series, so it only made sense to run them on a zippy little V8 E30.
The car doesn’t just do burnouts and donuts well, it also looks nice. The interior looks really clean with the black leather and minimal red accents. The black wheels also go well with the theme of the car. Under the reverse-latched hood sits a nice LS1 engine. We stated earlier that it appears to be stock, but there is so little information about the car that it’s hard to tell.
We love seeing these kinds of builds. It’s refreshing to see older imports with late model V8s in them. Oh, and always remember to be safe out there when performing donuts and burnouts like this!
