As a brand Cadillac may represent wealth and luxury, but GM wisely decided a decade ago that their top-tier brand needed a sporty edge as well. Thus came the V-series of powerful Cadillacs, namely the CTS-V. As part of the Pirelli World Challenge, Cadillac Racing has been competing at tracks across the country, including a recent race at Miller Motorsports Park in Toole, Utah. In this video from YouTube, Cadillac Racing drivers Andy Pilgrim and Johnny O’Connell walk us through a tour of the Utah track from the nose camera of their CTS-V Coupe race car.

We are used to hearing navigators talk rally racers through the tight corners and unforgiving trails that they have to navigate. Having both Pilgrim and O’Connell give us turn-by-turn instructions on navigate us through a nationally known track like Miller Motorsports Park is a rare treat. While it won’t make you into a race car driver over night, those weekend warriors who do race at Miller might pick up a few tips and tricks.

You’d do right to listen to both Cadillac drivers, as they did a fine job on the track this past weekend. O’Connell managed to finish in second place, and Pilgrim took fourth after the third spot was snatched from him. Even so, O’Connell still has a comfortable first place-overall standings so far, with Pilgrim trailing second overall. They are still sitting pretty, though the season is far from over.
