If you can’t attend an event but still want to experience it, what better way than with a 3D video? That is the idea behind a video recently uploaded to YouTube. Thanks to this video, you can experience a car event that few of us will ever see in person.
If you can’t attend an event but still want to experience it, what better way than with a 3D video? That is the idea behind a video recently uploaded to YouTube. Thanks to this video, you can experience a car event that few of us will ever see in person.
The 3D video, originally uploaded by CarsInDepth.com, shows the load-out of cars, including many from the Lingenfelter collection, at the Concours of America in Plymouth, Michigan. A vintage drag racer precedes Ken Lingenfelter in his incredible Saleen S7, followed by Lingenfelter’s Ferrari 308 GTB. Following these cars, you can see some impressive LSX’s come by in the video – including three Lingenfelter Camaros, one sporting the Lingenfelter Firebird body kit, a Corvette and a CTS-V. Dick Harrel and Rick Burkhardt Camaros are also in the line-up. As if these cars aren’t impressive enough on their own, nothing – besides seeing them in person – beats their in-your-face display in the 3D video.
Videos like this are the specialty of CarsInDepth.com, a website that features all kinds of cars in 3D. Committed to bringing people a “realistic perspective on cars and car culture,” CarsInDepth.com allows us to experience cars and events as if we were actually there. This is especially neat when it comes to events that we probably wouldn’t have the experience of attending on our own.
While many of us don’t have 3D glasses sitting around the house, CarsInDepth.com offers free glasses so you can experience all of their 3D car footage effectively. So sit back with your cool red and blue glasses on and enjoy the power of Lingenfelter cars in 3D.
ProTip: You can click on “3D” in the video menu bar and turn it off if it’s making your brain ache and you want to watch it in 2D instead…
