Video: LS-powered BMW E30 Drift Cars Tear Up The Streets Of Poland

It’s not often that we get to see racecars out on the streets, unless an actual race takes place on the streets, such as the Long Beach Grand Prix, Monaco GP, or the like.

That’s one reason we really enjoyed this short video of a bunch of drift cars terrorizing the streets – there were no boundaries. Our main focus were the two LS-powered BMW E30 drift cars that were leading the pack. The two Bimmers were embellished with Valvoline livery and produced a sound that made innocent bystanders jump and cover their ears in fear.

Although it looked like the cars were just parading around the streets, the E30 leading the pack was having the most fun performing burnouts, drifting, leaving pedestrians and other vehicles in tire smoke, and probably pissing a few people off. While we’re not quite sure which iteration of the LS is under the hood, we do know that whichever engine it is, it has enough power for the little, sub 3,000-pound E30 to slide around with.

Once the two LS-powered E30s made their way into a tunnel, they let loose on the happy pedal, unleashing exhaust notes that even Helen Keller would be able to hear. Once the lead E30 made its way out of the tunnel, the driver pegged the gas pedal once again, initiating a smoke screen for the rest of the cars exiting the tunnel. We can’t say street drifting happens often in Poland because we don’t live there, but we’d like to see more LS-powered drift cars terrorizing the streets! In a controlled fashion, of course…
